The SEND Friend is an independent SEND advocacy and parent support service founded by Laura Thorne. I help families navigate EHCP applications, school communication, evidence gathering and Tribunal preparation, offering clear and practical guidance at every stage. Grounded in lived experience and a strong understanding of SEND law, my work focuses on empowering parents to advocate confidently for their children. The service is safeguarding-trained, DBS-checked and fully insured, providing families with trusted, professional support through a complex system.
